Caribbean Sea Surface Temperatures

Sea Surface Temperatures Description

Sea Surface Temperature (SST) is the water temperature close to the ocean’s surface. Various methods are used to determine the temperature of the water. Buoy reports, CMAN reporting stations, and ship reports are among the direct recording methods. Satellites including Geostationary and Polar Orbiting can also indirectly measure the SST with on-board instruments.
